It is every parent's dream for their children to visit and experience the beautiful wonders of the world. Travelling and setting foot to the different places around the world is like a gift of a lifetime. The learnings and possibilities in the eyes of a child are endless.  Memories will never be taken from them.

Having said that, it is also good to know that there are various books available that allows us to explore the beauty of the different countries.  It would be good to have a glimpse of what to expect before travelling, a travel guide, or if you are on a tight budget but wanted to discover facts on famous places.

The Lonely Plant Kids, a travel media company, aims to kick-start the travel bug and open kids' eyes and minds to the world around them. Their focus is on showcasing the quirky facts, amusing tales and inspiring stories that bring our planet to life. Through Lonely Planet Kids, it is their hope to share their love of travel, sense of humor and continual fascination with what makes the world the diverse and magnificent place it is.

One of their best selling book is the Adventures in Famous Places.  It is an activity book that allows you to explore some of the most famous places in the world!

"Explore the ancient pyramids of Mexico, the spectacular Takayama Festival in Japan, and the jumbo sized Addo Elephant Park in South Africa!

Decorate real-life locations like the White House in Washington DC, the historic tower of London, and picturesque Lake Pichola in Udaipur and more!

Enjoy hours of fun games and puzzles. Each book in the series has its very own fold-out surprise to make and collect."

I am so glad that I receive one from Fully Booked because I really want my kids to learn and see the world outside ours.  Here's a peek of some of its pages.

I have known the soaps of Lux years ago but only because of my sister who lives in the U.S. Whenever her package arrives, Lux's soaps are always present.  Because it is not everyday that packages from her arrives, tinitipid ko talaga ang paggamit nito.  I remember using it only for special occasions haha.

Good thing that Lux is finally here in the Philippines! Not only that, they now introduced their Perfumed Bath Collection as a bonus! Perfect for those relaxing "bathtub soaking moments."

The New Lux in Magical Spell

Lux, the world's No.1 soap brand is crafted by master perfumers from New York, London , and Paris.  I am one of the lucky girls who have first tried their new Lux in Magical Spell. At the heart of this statement fragrance lies key notes of the rare Black Orchid, with opening notes of Juniper Oil amidst a captivating blend of dark woods, golden amber, and vanilla bean.

I have been using it for three straight weeks now and ooh la la, it's as if you are literally bathing with a perfume!  The scent is not too strong nor too mild for me.  Perfect for the moms who are always on the go and wants a long lasting body fragrance effortlessly.  Since we do not have a bathtub in our home, I just lightly scrub the body wash in my whole body and let it sink for 2-3 minutes.  It feels so much better when you feel that your body is absorbing every inch of its perfume smell. It also leaves my skin smooth and silky to touch. The best thing is that it is approved by my hubby and my kids, the people I always hug. ;)

The Lux Perfumed Bath Collection is also available in Soft Touch (for noticeably soft skin), White Impress (for visibly fair skin), and Love Forever (a long lasting unforgettable fragrance released on touch).

LUX is available in leading supermarkets, drugstores and department stores nationwide.

Hurry and share your luxurious bathing experience by using the hashtag #BatheWithLux.

Happy Bathing!!!

Hello Everyone!

46 days before Christmas and we all know that Christmas shopping is really a major production number to do.  We have all been there where we do last minute shopping and end up breaking our wallets due to pressure and compulsive buying.  We do not want to that anymore right? It is always better to plan your Christmas list as early as today to avoid the rush.

This is just the first batch, meaning there's more coming your way! I will be doing this once in two weeks until Christmas time.  Exciting right?

Items/products that I am going to post here are very practical and affordable at the same time.  I have told you before that I love online shopping that is why all shops listed below only sell online.  The sellers are also accommodating and friendly plus I could vouch with their hassle free transaction.  I don't want to spend my time browsing to an online store with very pricey tags but lacks on quality and have poor delivery service.

So let's get in on!

1.  The Crockery Den: The Crockery Den is an online shop at Instagram that sells Japanese ceramic plates and dishes, stoneware, and earthenware.  Sheila, the person behind those well-curated items of The Crockery Den, uploads 2-3 times a month which she usually announces a day before she post it.   Her items are one of a kind, pang collectors item! 'Yung tipong mga plates that you will store in your eskaparate for a lifetime without using it haha.  But seriously, eating with her plates make the dishes more sumptuous and 'sosyalin'. She ensures that all those precious items that you will order are well packed and protected until it reaches in your doorstep.  Visit her IG at the_crockery_den or viber/sms Sheila at 09175901217

2.  Istorya Creations:  Memories can now last a lifetime with Istorya Creations.  You can read my review of her products here.  Perfect personalized/handmade gift this Christmas for your loved ones.  Check out Joanna's lovely creations at Istorya.  To order, visit http://www.jotform.me/Istorya/orderform or text/email 0917-5432341/istorya.creations@gmail.com for more details.

3.  Little Lauren & Co.: You know you are already a mom if you are into "matchy-match" outfits with your little ones.  Well, you will be in the right track with Little Lauren and Company.  They have the most fashionable and the cutest outfits for moms and daughter. From day wear to formal occasions and gathering, they got you covered! For inquiries and orders, you may reach them at 0915-4974325 or browse their clothes style at Little Lauren&Co.

4.  ZALORA: It is in Zalora where I shop my trendy pencil cut skirts that I wore in the office.  You will definitely spot one or two that will surely meet your budget.  To make it more special this coming holidays, ZALORA has an amazing gift guide that will help you to figure out what to get your friends and family.  Go click the link!

5.  Pandorahoarder:  Pandahoarder is the famous IKEA online seller in Instagram.  Anne, the owner of the shop is based in Singapore, who from time to time posts the newest items and best sellers in IKEA.  As far as I know, she sells the cheapest IKEA stuffs in IG.  The seller responds quickly to queries and her parents (who often delivers the products at Waltermart, Sucat) are very cool and friendly.  Do check her IG account at pandahoarder (mrs. panda) or viber her at +65 8622 8713.
P.S. I already got some of my gifts for my officemates from her! ;)

What are you waiting for???

Enjoy Shopping!!!
I have been hearing Christmas songs already in the grocery and a feeling of happiness suddenly covers my body.  Haaaay. Ewan ko ba, but I really feel love, comfort, giving, and all, whenever I'm hearing Christmas songs.  Para bang ang bait bait ko hehe.

Anyway, hindi pa naman ito Christmas post.  I just want to share with you our experience when we visited the first Lego store here in Manila.  Grabe! Alam niyo bang this has been in my inbox since May!!! Natabunan na.  But nonetheless, we enjoyed our visit there especially the kids that is why it deserves a post. =)

When you enter the store, there is a big area where the children (and adults too!) can make their own creations of lego.

Good job Kuya Gabo and Ate Yani!

For those Frozen fanatics, you can check this one.  Super cute talaga! Priced at 3,999.75php.

For the Jurassic World lovers...

For those who are into Architecture, Nature, and Vintage Cars

Minecraft

The Simpsons Minifigures for 249php I think (I can't remember the exact price).  They are the newest addition to the Lego family!

Ninjago...

and my all time favorite, The Hobbit!!!

For those who enjoy building MOCs (or My Own Creations), there is now a designated area for “Pick-a-Brick” where you can buy individual bricks and parts by weight at P679.75 for every 100 grams.

Keychain brick accessories can also be engraved with your name for an additional fee of P100.

For kids 2-5 years of age, Duplo!

For those who are feminine at heart...
(I don't want to say that these are for girls only because boys can actually like it and play with it.  Wala pong masama doon.)

Star Wars Invasion

Lego Bionicle...

The Classic Creator

There was also a portion of a Philippine inspired Street made from LEGO! Look at our iconic Pinoy brands and transportations, all are built from LEGO bricks by PHLUG (Philippine LEGO Users Group). They were awesome!

There are also a lot of characters made from Lego at the entrance of the store

This is what we bought for Gabo (Creator's 3in1 priced at 650php).  My son loves helicopters so much.  What makes it even greater is that you can also turn it into a ship and a battle plane.

The kids enjoyed the Lego store so much they don't want to go home yet hehe.  We will definitely be back there on Christmas! Mag-iipon muna ako haha.

Located at Park Triangle, 11th Avenue corner Rizal Drive, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig

The store is open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
