Mastermom Speaks

Who among you have a pest free home? as in 'yung zero pest ha, and when I say pest, these are the ants, cockroach, rats, and mosquitoes. If you don't see them in your house, well, lucky you!

Unlike you, I am not that lucky when it comes to those pesky pests. I really hate them! I am actually working in a government agency that promotes and advocates peace and non-violence, but when it comes to them gusto ko talaga maging bayolente! haha! I admit, I am now seeing mice in our home and they are not just 1 or 2 but maybe 4! Holycow! that is so embarrassing, I know, but that's the truth. I don't know where are they coming from but maybe in our garden because we have like 2-3 banana trees outside our house, or maybe in our garage and drainage areas. Sila talaga ang mga peste sa bahay namin. They eat our food for survival, they chew furniture made of woods, they even left droppings everywhere. A really pain the ass.

One of our solutions was to use a fly catcher. We have been such a fan of fly catcher as a means of trapping them and we have been successful during our first trial stage. However, matalino talaga ang mga daga. Hindi ko alam kung saan nila kinukuha ang brain cell nila because they really are intelligent. The rat's whiskers and their sense of smell is so dominant and sensitive. The past few days, wala na kaming nakikitang dumidikit sa fly catcher and worse, I even saw one of them na talagang umiiwas on the catcher. They must really be that good.

But hep...hep...hep, I found this one effective solution that will terminate them all. Bwahahaha!

Home Pest Solution by Jardine Distribution Inc.

I hate to use the word terminate but this is really what this product is invented for, to kill those rats and mice. This is the Klerat Pellets and Blocks. It is just one of the Home Pest Solutions by Jardine Distribution, Inc. that heals our headache and saves or home from those unwanted pests. They also have products for ants, cockroaches, and also for mosquitoes.

SINGLE FEED

Klerat kills both rat and mice in just one feed. Other rodenticides can only get rid of rats and not mice. Other rat killers in the market also require several feeding for them to acquire enough poison before they die, thus, more expensive to use.

LESS COST PER RAT

Just a little of Klerat is all you need to kill rats and mice. Klerat requires the least amount of bait among all rodenticide baits. For a 250-gram rat, just 3 grams of Klerat is enough to kill it.

KILLS RAT AND MICE

Only Klerat contains Brodicacoum, the latest and most effective rodenticide in the market against rats and mice. Other brands can only kill rats.

EASY TO USE

Klerat pellet is very convenient and ready to use. Klerat Pellet is in easy to use tray packs. While, Klerat Wax Block can be nailed to make sure it will stay in place.

Ant Control That is Clearly Superior

Optigard Ant Bait is a gel form type of ant bait in a convenient syringe packaging that offers the most advanced technology in killing and eliminating ants.

Optigard is also very convenient to use as it is odorless. It does not cause staining as it has clear color compared with other ant gel bait with yellowish color.

Optigard Roach Bait is the advanced technology in killing and eliminating roaches as it offers longer lasting effect, convenient, easy to use, no odor and mess compared with the traditional spray and chalk insecticide.

Optigard Roach Bait has an excellent broad-spectrum control of many cockroach species including: German, American and orientals.

Optigard also has a unique dual mode of action with no documented resistance to the active ingredient. It also provides longer protection better than spray, up to 30 days protection.

Kids at times, tends to be unstoppable on eating junk foods especially candies, when not guided properly. That is why it is in every parent's wishlist to have a candy created that is not just purely delicious in taste but also high in vitamins and minerals. If Willy Wonka is here in real life, that will be on the top of my list. But Mr. Wonka is just fictional (sigh). Good heavens, there is Rebisco who just recently launched a product named Vita Cubes! These are cube -shaped jelly candies that come in five different flavors - strawberry, apple, grape, orange, and mango.

I was invited to the launch of Rebisco's Vita Cubes together with the other Mommies of the Mommy Bloggers Philippines at Fun Ranch, Ortigas. Gabo and I are very excited since it will be another bonding and learning experience for us. Before the event started, we were offered to have a free ride all you can and an access to Playdium. As always, lumabas nanaman ang pagka hyper ng bata =).

There were a lot of Mommies who participated in the event. The place looks like a kiddie party kaya patok na patok sa mga kids! They serve sumptuous merienda buffet, and all of the Mommies are super active and participative in all of the games. Hindi nagpatalo sa mga bagets haha. There are also magic shows that made the kids go aahhhhh and ohhhhhh!

During the event, the brand manager of the Vita Cubes presented to us more details about the product. Vitamins in a form of candy? Can you believe it? At first, I was like really? But when they explained the contents of the products, I became a believer na! For me, it was worth a try instead of those "fruit" jelly candies that we see nowadays in the market that contains a lot of sugar and preservatives. This Vita Cubes, aside from having a delicious taste, are fortified with essential vitamins and minerals that are important for growing children. It is in a jelly cube form (much like those with gummy bears) that are easy to chew and swallow. Vita Cubes contains Lysine, Zinc, Vit. A, Vit. B, Vit. C, and Vit. E. Oh diba! All the vitamins that helps our children to grow healthy and strong are all in a cube.

These Vita Cubes are very safe for children ages 1 and up! No limit as of how many they can eat (it depends on how much their stomach can consume). In fact, they could eat 1 sachet in just one sitting.

It is our role control and adjust the sweets intake of our kids if we do not want them to acquire diseases that will lead to obesity. I am so happy that there are candies now like Vita Cubes that helps boost the energy and growth of our kids. I must say that it also lessens my mommy guilt =). This is the perfect alternative to our sweet tooth kiddies. I always put a pack of this as an added baon for my 2 kids.

Where to buy?

Vita Cubes is available at all Mercury Drug outlets, SM Supermarket, Robinson's Supermarkets, Waltermart, landmark, Puregold, Mini Stop, local grocery stores, and most especially sa ating mga suking sari-sari store tindahan!
May be bought per box (containing 10 pcs. of 50g packs) or per individual 50g pack

How much?

Vita Cube Singles (P1.00 per piece)
Suggested Retail Price (SRP) for a 50g pack is at Php 12. Super affordable!

Congratulations Rebisco for the successful launch of Vita Cubes! Gabo and I really enjoyed it.

Vita Cubes Yummy has never been this healthy.

Healthy has never been this yummy!

Weekends are so precious to us. If there's one thing that I could trade my work of, that would be a forever weekend. Hahaha. Monday pa lang gusto mo na ulit mag Friday. Relate?

Actually, ito talaga ang gusto kong sabihin.

Hahahaha! This meme is so funny! Pasok na pasok sa banga! Vacation mode lagi ang peg =)

Well, but seriously, having a work for the past 8 years is really a blessing. 'Yung iba nga diyan nagpapakamatay maghanap ng trabaho tapos ikaw petics lang. God has given us all the talents and skills that we need in order to provide for ourselves and to our family. We should not take it for granted, instead we should be grateful especially if you are working for a good cause.

BUT, as much as we love our job, hindi ibig sabihin nun na 24/7 ka ng magtatrabaho. Rest is very important if we want to be productive in a long week of working. Kailangan mo din mag recharge paminsan minsan. And what better way to do that is to spend your time with your loved ones. As for me, it's a breath of fresh air when I'm with my family. My husband and three kids help me a lot to regenerate my energy when I'm feeling tired and weak.

Every weekends, especially during Sundays, we see to it that we spend time together strolling. Kapag sinabing strolling, one thing that first comes into our mind is spending money right? Kung pupunta ka sa mall hindi mo maiiwasan bumili ng anik anik or to buy toys that your kids pressured you to do so. Lol! In addition, most of the playgrounds or play areas, may it be indoor or outdoor, usually has an entrance free. It will be very costly if you are always going out and that is a No No especially if you are just earning averagely.

With that, I wanted to share with you guys my family's outdoor experience on a budget at Bluebay Walk. It was a month ago when we went there. Bluebay Walk is the new lifestyle center located at Metro Park, EDSA cor. Macapagal Boulevard, Pasay City.

See map below.

The Vicinity Map

The first thing that excites all of us most specially the kids, is the wide and huge play area. The kids and even adults can play and run all round, while you can. And the best thing is that it's for everyone! There is no entrance fee.

There are also shops where you can rent a bike or a motor bike for kids. As for us, we bring our kids' own bike! Yes, you can do that para less gastos.

The huge spread of green grass is also conducive for those who have babies. You can stroll them or even train them on how to simply crawl, stand, or walk. The area is big enough to hold a lot of people but since it is just new, the place is less crowded pa.

Axxel's newly cut hair: kalbo =)

Note: The construction that you see at our back is far from the open area. The spot that we are sitting is very safe from debris =)

The place also has a lot of restaurants. Some of these are:

Manila's Best Coffee Velvet Friends Cat Cafe Company Crisostomo Papa John's Pizza The Food Club	Burger King Jollibee McDonalds' UCC Clockwork Curry Bee Yamato Bakery Cafe	Project Pie Chowking Kimono Ken Japanese Restaurant Quick Stomack by Chado Tea Room
Outback Steakhouse Persia Grill Bonchon Chicken Army Navy Burger + Burito	Mini Pies and Tarts Le Coeur de France Angel N Kiss Bakery Mitsuyado Sei-Men J.Co Donuts and Coffee	The Ostrich Farm Hot Star Large Fried Chicken Conti's Bakeshop and Restauant

Whew! That was long! Here are the shopping stores naman in case hindi talaga mapigilan hehe.

Shoes, bags and accessories: American Tourister, Aspray, Flyinf Dutchman, L-Time Studio, MBT, Payless, Samsonite, Sneak Peak, Superga

Beauty and Wellness: Bites and Smiles, GQ Barbershop, Gold's Gym, Jesi Mendez Salon, Lets Face It, My Lash, Nail Cocktails, Tips N' Toes

You can also bring your food but please be sure to also bring your own plastic garbage bag. Please lang. The grass area is so clean and you can never see any candy wrapper or plastic snacks littering there. We didn't bring any food kasi hindi pa namin alam na pwede but next time we will definitely bring sandwiches and drinks.

Yani is still negotiating with her Daddy hehe

I am so loooving this moment. This little boy always put smiles in our hearts.

Bluebay Walk is the newest place for family where you can all bond, unwind, chill, eat, do outdoor shopping, and listen to a relaxing music. I am not sure but I think there are live bands that performs every night.

Bluebay Walk is open from 9:00 am - 10:00 pm everyday.

Happy Weekend!
